Alya comes to terms with her attack
After Zeedan heads off back to London, Alya comes face to face with Jayden, a client who is accused of stabbing someone. Full of fury, she describes to Jayden just how it feels to be stabbed. Later, she opens up fully to Ryan about her trauma and they share a passionate kiss.

David learns from the STC that Max has been discovered with facial injuries after an attack. Maria later finds David drunk in Victoria Garden and lends him a sympathetic ear but when he leans in for a kiss, she sends him home. Before too long though, Shona's back on the street and finds out about David's clumsy pass...

Stephen keeps Carla at bay
After learning from Peter that Carla's hoping to be back at work soon, Stephen calls round at their flat and when her back is turned, he spikes Carla's water with more LSD.

Stephen informs Elaine that he can afford to pay her loan back in full and she soon starts making plans to buy a flat in Redbank. Later, he's dismayed to find Carla preparing to return to work and asks Sarah to convince Carla that it's too soon as her mental health is still fragile.

Daisy feels hopeless
Daisy is in tears when she switches her phone back on to find a flood of texts from Justin. She finally agrees to go to the police, but PC Scott plays down her concerns. Later, she's horrified to find that PC Scott has liked all of her holiday pictures.

Daisy sees Justin on Victoria Street holding a bunch of flowers and angrily storms over, trashing the flowers and punching Justin as a shocked George watches on. Justin reveals that his mother has just died and he was paying George a visit to sort out the funeral arrangements.
