Barbara Windsor's funeral to take place on Friday

Dame Barbara Windsor's funeral will take place this Friday following her death last month at the age of 83.

The funeral for Dame Barbara Windsor will take place in London on Friday, it has been revealed.

The acting legend - star of EastEnders and the Carry On films - died at the age of 83 last month following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

According to The Sun, a small service for Windsor will be held at the Golders Green Crematorium on Friday afternoon.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, a maximum of 30 people will be permitted to attend, while her good friends Ross Kemp and Christopher Biggins will give eulogies.

Windsor is survived by her husband of more than 20 years Scott Mitchell.
