Piers Morgan reveals that he will return to Good Morning Britain as a guest almost four years after he quit the show.

Piers Morgan has revealed that he will return to Good Morning Britain on Monday almost four years after he quit the show.

The outspoken broadcaster hosted the breakfast show alongside Susanna Reid from 2015 until 2021, when he dramatically resigned after being asked to apologise on air for his negative comments about Meghan Markle.

As part of the saga Morgan walked out of the studio during a heated on-air argument with weather presenter Alex Beresford, who remains part of the show.

Morgan subsequently signed a deal with Rupert Murdoch to become the face of new channel TalkTV, although the station has since shut down due to poor ratings and Morgan has moved his show to YouTube.

Posting on X, he wrote: "BREAKING: It's been nearly 4yrs (1,453 days to be precise!) since I departed ⁦@GMB rather hastily... but tomorrow morning, for the first time, I'm going back. I'll be on with ⁦@susannareid100⁩ & ⁦@edballs⁩ at 8.15am."

The reason for Morgan's appearance is unclear, although he recently revealed that he is the victim of a stalker who has been harassing him Baby Reindeer-style, while he has also been having regular phone conversations with President Donald Trump.
