I'm A Celebrity final moved to Friday night?

ITV reportedly moves the finale of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! to a Friday night in order to avoid going up against Strictly Come Dancing.

ITV has reportedly moved the final of this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in order to avoid a ratings clash with Strictly Come Dancing.

Due to coronavirus the Ant and Dec-fronted show is being relocated from Australia to Wales, but it will still occupy the same three-week space in the ITV schedules from November.

According to The Sun, however, the broadcaster has tweaked the end date of the show so that it will air on a Friday night and prevent a scheduling conflict with Strictly, which returns in late October.

"The autumn TV schedule is packed with content as people spend cold evenings on the sofa in front of the box," an ITV source told the newspaper.

"So I'm A Celeb bosses have pushed for the final to be on a Friday night for the first time so they don't have to share audiences with Strictly and can dominate the viewers.

"ITV has ploughed close to £1 million into the series and want to make it a success. So they aren't taking any chances."

Keith Duffy, Vinnie Jones and John Bercow are among the many famous faces to have been linked with the show over the last few months.
