Likely rules on travel into Australia mean that this year's edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is expected to be set in Wales.

This year's edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is reportedly likely to be set in Wales once again.

Last year the show was broadcast from Gwrych Castle in North Wales rather than Australia due to the coronavirus pandemic, with Giovanna Fletcher being crowned the first ever 'Queen of the Castle'.

Revealing his budget this week, Aussie prime minister Scott Morrison revealed that "international travel is expected to remain low through to mid-2022, after which a gradual recovery in tourism is assumed to occur".

The news means that entry into the country could remain restricted around the time I'm A Celebrity is filmed in November, making a return to Wales increasingly likely.

ITV is already thought to have secured an agreement to hire Gwrych Castle again in the event that it proves necessary to hold the show there.
