Ex-Bond girl Tanya Roberts dies after premature death announcement

James Bond actress Tanya Roberts dies at the age of 65, two days after she was originally reported to have died.

Actress Tanya Roberts, who starred in the James Bond movie A View To A Kill, has died at the age of 65.

The star was originally reported to have died on Sunday at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, with her representative even issuing a statement about her passing.

Yesterday, however, it emerged that Roberts was in fact still alive and the premature announcement of her death had come as a result of incorrect information.

Now, The New York Times has confirmed that she died on Monday night, 11 days after she was admitted to hospital following a sudden collapse.

Roberts - also known for That '70s Show - is survived by husband Lance O'Brien and sister Barbara Chase.
