Ariana Grande to drop surprise new album this month

Ariana Grande reveals plans to release her sixth studio album later this month.

Ariana Grande has revealed that she will be releasing her sixth studio album later this month.

The 27-year-old casually announced the news in a post on Twitter this week, telling her fans: "i can't wait to give u my album this month"

The new release arrives around 20 months after Thank U, Next and is expected to feature the fan-favourite 'Nasty' as well as a song - potentially called 'brb' - that she teased on Twitter last month.

Grande has already had chart success this year with two collaborations - 'Rain On Me' with Lady Gaga and 'Stuck With U' with Justin Bieber.

The singer's last three albums have all hit the top spot in the UK charts, while her music has notched up around 40 billion online streams to date.
