Hear'Say are reportedly in active discussions about reuniting almost two decades after the band split.
The five-piece pop group - Myleene Klass, Suzanne Shaw, Kym Marsh, Noel Sullivan and Danny Foster - formed on the ITV series Popstars in 2001 and enjoyed a handful of hits including 'Pure and Simple' and 'Show Me The Way To Your Love'.
Marsh quit after less than a year, however, and was replaced by Johnny Shentall - husband of Steps singer Lisa Scott-Lee - but just months later the group decided to go their separate ways.
According to The Sun, the original five band members began exchanging WhatsApp messages in September about a possible 20-year reunion and met in person last month to discuss the idea further.
"Hear'Say were one of the original reality groups to come good, and something of a cult band," a source told the newspaper.
"Right now, there's a real demand for nostalgia and feel-good celebrity - and Hear'Say fit the bill.
"The group exchanged a series of messages about a reunion, proposing a few tour dates and a couple of one-off TV appearances, as well as a possible ITV documentary.
"But after much consideration, Myleene politely said that after a lot of thought she didn't think the time was right for her."
Klass is currently gearing up to appear on the next series of Dancing On Ice in January 2021, while Marsh is now hosting BBC One's new daytime show Morning Live.
