BBC to continue with 'Saturday Kitchen Live' amid coronavirus pandemic

The BBC says it will continue airing Saturday Kitchen Live during the coronavirus outbreak.

The BBC has confirmed that it will continue to air new episodes of Saturday Kitchen Live for the foreseeable future despite the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

On the show, which airs between 10am and 11.30am, Matt Tebbutt and Paul Ainsworth are joined by celebrity guests in the studio to cook and sample dishes and drinks.

Most live TV productions in the UK have been delayed as a result of the coronavirus spread, which has led to new measures this week banning all but non-essential travel and contact with others.

A BBC spokesperson told The Sun: "Saturday Kitchen Live is continuing, closely following guidelines from healthcare officials."

Our Girl's Michelle Keegan is due to guest on this weekend's show, although it is unclear whether she and other guests will appear live in the studio or via webcam from home.
