Harry Styles in running to take over as James Bond?

Harry Styles reportedly tells friends that he is down to the final two actors in the process to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond.

Harry Styles has reportedly told friends that he has held meetings about taking over from Daniel Craig as James Bond.

Producers are in the process of deciding upon a new actor to replace Craig, whose final outing as 007 will come in the upcoming movie No Time To Die - delayed until April 2021 due to coronavirus.

Tom Hardy is the current bookies' favourite to land the part, but according to The Sun, One Direction singer Styles, 26, is in with a serious shot.

"Harry is deadly serious. He has had a series of high-level meetings about becoming 007," a friend told the newspaper.

"Harry believes he is in the final two. Harry is a new-age British man... he's confident in his own skin and making him Bond would signal the franchise changing with the times."

Styles has previously appeared opposite Hardy in the acclaimed 2017 war film Dunkirk.
