Joe Wicks in line for This Morning role?

Joe Wicks and his wife Rosie are reportedly wanted for a new fitness segment on ITV's This Morning.

Joe Wicks and his wife Rosie are reportedly wanted by This Morning to host a new fitness segment.

The 33-year-old has amassed an audience of millions over the last two months by staging free daily PE lessons on his YouTube channel during the coronavirus lockdown.

Earlier this month Rosie was enlisted as a "supply teacher" to help lead the lessons after Joe was forced to undergo wrist surgery and is said to have impressed producers of the ITV morning show.

"Joe and Rosie are the hottest couple in TV right now. All channels are lining up to offer them deals," a source told The Sun. "Their performances during lockdown really caught the eye of ITV producers.

"Good Morning Britain and This Morning would both love to offer them slots. But the couple think This Morning would be a good match for them.

"Joe's done lots before with hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. He's keen to keep his classes online because he loves the freedom. But he and Rosie are massively excited by the opportunities being thrown their way.

"They love working on TV and using it to talk about the things they're passionate about - keeping fit, healthy eating and living right."

Joe has also been courted by top reality shows such as Strictly Come Dancing and I'm A Celebrity but is thought to have rejected all offers.
