Kanye West: 'Coronavirus vaccine could stop people getting into Heaven'

Kanye West shares his fears that a vaccine for coronavirus could prevent people from getting into Heaven when they die, branding it "the mark of the beast".

Kanye West has shared his concerns that the development of a coronavirus vaccine could prevent people from getting into Heaven when they die.

The 43-year-old billionaire's comments come days after he announced his surprise decision to run for the US Presidency in just four months' time, despite having missed the deadline to stand in multiple states.

The coronavirus pandemic is continuing to escalate in the US, which is already the most-affected country in the world - with 3.2 million confirmed cases and almost 135,000 deaths.

The world is unlikely to return to any semblance of normality until a vaccine is developed and proven to be effective, but 'Ye' has expressed fear that vaccination is "the mark of the beast".

"It's so many of our children that are being vaccinated and paralysed," he told Forbes. "So when they say the way we're going to fix COVID is with a vaccine, I'm extremely cautious. That's the mark of the beast.

"They want to put chips inside of us, they want to do all kinds of things, to make it where we can't cross the gates of heaven. I'm sorry when I say they, the humans that have the Devil inside them.

"And the sad thing is that, the saddest thing is that we all won't make it to heaven, that there'll be some of us that do not make it."

Asked for his thoughts on a cure for coronavirus, the rapper replied: "It's all about God. We need to stop doing things that make God mad."

West has previously revealed that he contracted coronavirus himself in February.
