Katy Perry announces that her beloved cat Kitty Purry has passed away at the age of 15.

Katy Perry has confirmed the death of her beloved cat Kitty Purry at the age of 15.

The 'Dark Horse' singer shared her sad news on Instagram alongside a montage of pictures of her posing with Purry.

"Sadly, Kitty completed her 9th life last night," she wrote. "I hope she rests in salmon fillets and tuna tartare way up in catnip heaven."

Perry recently revealed that she is expecting her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom.
