Ozzy Osbourne making "mind-blowing" progress with Parkinson's

Kelly Osbourne reveals that her father Ozzy has made significant progress after undergoing stem cell treatment for Parkinson's disease.

Kelly Osbourne has revealed that her father Ozzy is making rapid progress after receiving experimental stem cell treatment for Parkinson's disease.

The Black Sabbath legend, 71, announced in January that he had been diagnosed with the brain condition, which affects co-ordination, while having surgery on his neck.

Ozzy has since undergone stem cell treatment in Panama and, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kelly admitted that the family were shocked with the results.

"Seeing after one treatment of stem cell what has happened and the progress that he's made is mind-blowing," she said.

"He wants to get up. He wants to do things. He wants to be part of the world again. He's walking better. He's talking better. His symptoms are lessening. He is building the muscle strength back that he needs after his spine surgery.

"Everything is starting to fall into place now and it has given us so much hope. We are very grateful to the doctors that are helping him. He's ready to get out of the house and now he can't get out of the house (due to coronavirus). He keeps saying to me, 'I've been on quarantine for almost two years, and now I'm feeling better and the world is on quarantine'."

Osbourne released his first solo album in a decade, Ordinary Man, in February and reached number three in the albums chart.
