Spice Girls tipped for legends slot at Glastonbury

The Spice Girls are tipped to appear in the 'legends' slot at the 2021 edition of Glastonbury Festival.

The Spice Girls have emerged as favourites to appear in the 'legends' slot at next year's Glastonbury Festival.

The five-piece rank as the best-selling girl group of all time, with more than 85 million records sold worldwide since their debut in 1996.

Last year the girls - minus Victoria Beckham - reunited for a limited-date tour to huge success, with over 700,000 people attending 13 dates, including three sold-out shows at Wembley.

This year's Glastonbury was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and with organisers promising that next year's event will be the best yet, bookmakers have shortened the odds on the Spice Girls reuniting again at Worthy Farm.

Speaking last year, Emma Bunton revealed that the group had been asked to play the iconic festival but they declined as they were keen to get their reunion tour out of the way first.
