Watch: Shania Twain serenades a horse

Country music star Shania Twain performs to a horse in a short set from her Las Vegas home.

Shania Twain recorded a performance from her Las Vegas home for a special country music programme in the US.

The two-hour ACM Presents: Our Country was staged in place of the Country Music Awards - pushed back until September due to the coronavirus outbreak - and saw a number of the genre's top stars give performances from their homes.

For hers, Twain performed her hits 'Honey I'm Home' and 'Man! I Feel Like A Woman' on acoustic guitar while sitting in front of a large horse.

The 54-year-old frequently addressed the horse directly during the short set, at one point turning to the animal to declare: "With all this stress, I must confess, this could be worse than PMS."
