Drag Race to launch Dutch version

The Netherlands is the next country to get its own version of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Dutch broadcaster RTL has announced a localised version of RuPaul's Drag Race for broadcast later this year.

To be known as Drag Race: Holland, the show will follow the format of Canada's Drag Race and Drag Race Thailand by using its own hosts and judges rather than RuPaul.

Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, co-founders of production company World of Wonder, said: "We firmly believe in charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent and can't wait to welcome these 10 talented queens into the Drag Race family. We know fans won't be disappointed."

UK viewers will be able to watch the show with English subtitles on the SVOD service WoW Presents Plus.
