First queen eliminated from Canada's Drag Race speaks out

The first queen to sashay away from Canada's Drag Race gives her reaction after leaving the show.

Warning: This article contains spoilers about the first episode of Canada's Drag Race that some readers may prefer to avoid.

The first season of Canada's Drag Race has begun, with Juice Boxx becoming the first queen to sashay away for an early bath.

Having landed in the bottom two alongside Lemon for her take on Canuck Couture Fantasy, she went on to lose the Carly Rae Jepsen lip synch and was given her marching orders by the judges.

In doing so, Juice became part of the small club of queens to fall at the first hurdle, joining Porkchop from the original season of Drag Race, Gothy Kendoll from Drag Race UK and Drag Race Thailand's Meannie Minaj.

Speaking after her elimination, Juice said: "It is iconic to be part of the very first cast and I am now part of a very elite club who went first. It's me, Porkchop and Gothy Kendoll just hanging out and having a kiki!"

Asked what advice she would give for aspiring queens, she replied: "Don't be an asshole. Nobody likes a mean person or [wants to] work with them. If you're nice, you will be more successful.

"If you're pretty and a dickhead you won't get very far, but if you're ugly and sweet, you'll be better off."

New episodes of Canada's Drag Race continue to drop every Friday morning on BBC iPlayer in the UK and air Thursday nights on Crave in Canada.
