Harvey Price "home, safe and well" after hospital dash

Katie Price reveals that her son is back home and doing well after being rushed to hospital on Saturday night.

Katie Price has revealed that her son Harvey Price is "home, safe and well" after being hospitalised last night.

The 18-year-old, who is severely disabled, received his first dose of the coronavirus vaccine on Friday but suffered an adverse reaction a day later and was said to be "shaking uncontrollably" when Katie decided to take him to A&E.

Posting to her Instagram Stories today, the ex-glamour model revealed that the vaccine had sparked a bad reaction due to the "complex medication" that Harvey takes to manage his various ailments.

"The reaction was a really, really high temperature, 39.9 degrees," she told followers.

"And obviously with Harvey, I have to keep a really keen eye and I couldn't get his temperature down so I phoned Great Ormond Street and they told me to go to the nearest A&E so that's what we did."

Appearing alongside Harvey, she continued: "Everything was fine, said it was just a reaction from COVID but today, he's absolutely on form, aren't you?

"And the doctors and nurses were fantastic so I can't wait to still have my COVID injection and I still recommend everyone else have it and Harvey is safe and well."

Katie added that after the scare, Harvey was quickly back to his usual self and was asking for "chicken kiev and chips" at 4am this morning.
