AJ Pritchard: 'I won't ever go back to Strictly Come Dancing'

AJ Pritchard rules out ever returning to Strictly Come Dancing following his decision to quit earlier this year.

AJ Pritchard has insisted that he has no regrets over quitting Strictly Come Dancing and has ruled out ever returning to the show.

The 25-year-old announced in March that he was stepping down from the ballroom series after four years in order to pursue a new career as a TV presenting duo with his brother Curtis Pritchard.

The pair had set their sights on becoming the next Ant and Dec but the coronavirus pandemic - and shutdown of most TV productions - has put those plans on ice.

"I made a decision and I'm very happy with that decision," AJ told The Sun. "I felt like coming out on what was a complete high.

"That last year with Saffron [Barker] was a fantastic year, and if you don't move forward and keep striving for what is your end goal, you won't be able to make that jump.

"To wait another year just didn't feel right for me. I won't ever go back."

AJ is also being tipped to take part in this year's edition of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.
