Manchester United defender Harry Maguire is reportedly still in the dark over his contract situation at Old Trafford.
The England international is currently in his sixth campaign with the Red Devils having signed in an £80m deal from Leicester City.
Although 216 appearances have been made in all competitions, Maguire has not always held down a regular spot in the starting lineup under several different managers.
Maguire has now reached a stage of his contract where he has less than 12 months remaining on his existing terms, leaving United with a decision to make over how they approach the upcoming phase of negotiations.

What does Maguire want to happen?
As per the Manchester Evening News, United are yet to activate an automatic one-year extension in Maguire's contract.
United are able to do so for the remainder of the month before the 31-year-old has the option to hold discussions over a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs.
Maguire is allegedly of the opinion that he wants to pen fresh terms, there seemingly being optimism that he could feature more regularly in the back three that will be used by new head coach Ruben Amorim.
On the international scene with England, Maguire has had some of his best days being deployed on the left-hand side of a back three.
Just his 10th appearance of the season came at the weekend as he made his return from injury as a substitute during the victory over Everton.
With Arsenal and Nottingham Forest to come over the next three days, there will be more opportunities for Maguire to impress Amorim.

In-form wide player Amad Diallo finds himself in the same situation with United yet to automatically extend his terms.
Nevertheless, with the 22-year-old emerging as United's star player across the past five fixtures, that only seems to be a matter of time.
Amorim, himself, has already publicly acknowledged that he expects a positive resolution in due course.
