Larry Fitzgerald eyes Seattle Seahawks match

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald vows to do everything in his power to be fit to face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has vowed to do whatever he can to ensure that he plays against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Fitzgerald was forced off late in the fourth quarter of his side's overtime win against the Tennessee Titans at the weekend having being hit in the head by Jackie Battle.

NFL protocol over concussion injuries state that Fitzgerald will not be able to take part in full practice again until Friday at the earliest, but he is confident that he will be fit for Sunday's game after promising baseline test results yesterday.

"I was right where I needed to be. At that point it's just about how I feel. But right now, I'm feeling good. I'm going to get some rest, get some rest and get back to work for a big game against Seattle next week," Fitzgerald told Westwood One.

"I was a little out of it. [My] equilibrium was lost a bit but our training staff did an unbelievable job. [They] felt that it was in my best interests not to come back into the game, and I appreciate those guys looking out for my best interests because I really wanted to go back in.

"I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that I am recovering at a fast rate so I can be out there with my team come Sunday."

The Cardinals are currently 9-5 for the season and face the San Francisco 49ers in their regular season finale a week after taking on the Seahawks.
