The Baltimore Ravens have confirmed that linebacker Terrell Suggs has been ruled out for the season due to a torn Achilles.
The 32-year-old sustained the injury in the fourth quarter of his side's defeat to the Denver Broncos when he fell to the ground awkwardly when attempting to rush Peyton Manning.
Suggs was carted off the field and did not return, and the club have now announced that their defensive captain will miss the rest of the campaign due to the injury.
