Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith has insisted that he has no fear about returning punts, despite his advancing years.
The 36-year-old has revealed that the 2015 season will be the last of his illustrious career, but head coach John Harbaugh has still used the wideout as his primary punt returner, even though it carries a greater risk of injury.
"Football has a degree of injuries and I don't think really on any play there's a higher percentage or a lesser percentage," Smith told reporters.
"If you're going to get hurt, you're going to get hurt in this game. That's just a fact."
Smith recorded two receptions for 13 yards in his side's season-opening defeat to the Denver Broncos.
