Buffalo Bills quarterback Matt Cassel has expressed his belief that the club have a more talented roster than the Kansas City Chiefs team he guided to the playoffs in the 2010 season.
The Bills acquired Cassel from the Minnesota Vikings to compete with EJ Manuel for the role as the starting signal-caller of the AFC East outfit.
The 32-year-old feels that that the level of talent that the Bills have added to the team that finished 9-7 last season - such as LeSean McCoy and Percy Harvin - makes them a more formidable unit than the Chiefs were in 2010.
"The talent level of what we have here overall is much higher than what we had in Kansas City back in 2010," Cassel told WGR-AM.
"We had a steady running game. Dwayne Bowe had a fantastic year. He had like 18 touchdown catches and we had a strong defense and the combination of that always works together."
Cassel was voted to the Pro Bowl for his exploits in the 2010 season, when he threw for 3,116 yards and 27 touchdowns to seven interceptions.
