Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has stated that his improved performances in recent weeks are down to his teammates just as much as himself.
Newton threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score himself in his side's 31-13 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday to secure the Panthers' third victory on the bounce.
"I feel as if my production is off a lot of people's production as well," Newton told reporters.
"If you want to solely say I'm playing great, it also means a lot of other guys are playing great. This is not a one-man show. I understand that, and I will not have that type of attitude."
Ron Rivera's side moved to 4-3 with their win over the Buccaneers.
