Marvin Lewis has said that the Cincinnati Bengals are focusing on improving their running game.
The AFC North side, who made 1,745 rushing yards during the 2012 regular season, rushed for 230 yards during their pre-season win against the Atlanta Falcons earlier this week.
Speaking at a press conference, the head coach said: "I think it's important that we run the football. And I think we kind of righted ourselves last year when we began to run the ball more productively.
"Sometimes you throw it to run it, and we're going to have to do that. But we also have to be able to run it when we need to run it. That's going to be important, yes.
"We have to do a better job of being on the right people all of the time. We had a lot of production, but I thought we could have had a lot more and should have a lot more. We've got an opportunity to clean some of those things up and make sure we're seeing them through the same eyes."
The Bengals play the Tennessee Titans next week.
