Josh Gordon: 'It's difficult to adjust to new coaches'

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon admits that it is difficult for him and his teammates to adjust to their third head coach in as many seasons at the club.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has revealed that it is difficult for everyone at the club to move on to their third head coach in as many seasons.

Mike Pettine was announced as the new head coach of the Browns to replace Rob Chudzinski, who was fired after just a year in the job following a 4-12 season in 2013.

"It definitely is [hard]," Gordon told NFL Network.

"When I first came in, I wasn't sure how long Pat [Shurmur] was going to stay. Three years, three coaches, it's difficult for anybody.

"You want to get close to them on a personal level and become friends, and we have, but the fact that they're taken away that quickly, you realise it's strictly business - just about."

Gordon was voted as an All-Pro for his exploits in the 2013 season, in which he caught 87 passes for 1,646 yards along with nine touchdowns in just 14 matches.
