Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden says that he loves the team's offense following a change of head coach and offensive coordinator this off-season.

Brandon Weeden has praised the Cleveland Browns new offensive system for the 2013 NFL season.

The AFC North side changed their head coach and offensive coordinator earlier in the off-season, having finished last in their division in 2012.

The starting quarterback told the team's website: "I love it. It gives us an opportunity to create mismatches and do some things that fit our personnel. All of the guys outside, the receivers, the tight ends, they enjoy it and have a chance to make big plays.

"Throwing the football down the field is something I love to do. I need to be smart about it at times, check the ball down when it's not there, but it's an 'attack offense'.

"We want to attack. That's our mindset. We want to attack, play fast, do all those things to give us an advantage. That's what I've always done, and it fits my personality."

The Browns beat the St Louis Rams in their first game of the pre-season on Thursday.
