The Dallas Cowboys have emerged as favourites to face the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium next year.
The Jags will be one of three teams to hold a "home" game in London next season, when they are scheduled to play the NFC East and AFC North sides.
ESPN says that confirmation of the fixture could be made later today, with the league keen to finalise the game before the end of the week.
The Jaguars will play games at Wembley for the next four seasons, including against the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday.
