Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware will be out of action for up to a month with a quadriceps injury, according to a report.
The 31-year-old sustained the injury in the first quarter of his side's victory over the Washington Redskins in the NFL on Sunday.
Ware was rushing towards quarterback Robert Griffin III but immediately pulled up and was forced off for the remainder of the game.
Tests confirmed that he has strained the quad muscle in his right leg and could be out for four weeks, according to ESPN.
The Cowboys moved to 3-3 in their season with their win over the Redskins.
