Cornerback Orlando Scandrick fired parting shots at both the New York Giants and NFL legend Mike Ditka following the Dallas Cowboys' victory on Sunday night.
Scandrick played a key role in the win, stripping the ball from Victor Cruz's hands to allow Jeff Heath to scoop it up and score a first-quarter touchdown.
After the contest, the 26-year-old tore into the opposition, as well as Ditka, who this week doubted that the Cowboys had anybody who could stop Cruz.
According to the Twitter feed of New York Post reporter Bart Hubbuch, Scandrick said: "Never in my life have I heard a 4-6 team talk like that. Talk, talk, talk. We had a better record and didn't talk.
"That's just the New York Giants being the Giants. You think you're going to scare us by staring at us? The Giants have a great coach. I have no earthly idea why he let them talk like that this week.
"And really, Mike Ditka? The guy who traded his entire draft for a running back? That Mike Ditka?"
The win gives the Cowboys a cushion over their NFC East rivals, effectively ending the Giants' playoff chances this season.
