Denver Broncos head coach John Fox has been cleared by doctors to return to duty following heart surgery earlier in the month.
It was announced on Thursday that Fox had returned home following the procedure and a club statement has confirmed that the coach will resume his duties from Monday.
"John Fox has been cleared by doctors to return as head coach of the Denver Broncos beginning Monday," a statement on the club's website read. "We are very pleased that his recovery from a heart procedure on November 4 has progressed so well.
"Our organisation is confident that his health will allow him to meet his head coaching responsibilities. While no formal restrictions will be placed on his workload upon return, he will continue to be monitored by our medical staff as his well-being remains our number one priority. We look forward to coach Fox's return to the team on Monday."
The Broncos are currently top of the AFC West.
