Danny Trevathan has said that he is "really excited" to face the New England Patriots in the AFC championship game this weekend.
The Denver Broncos have already faced the AFC East champions once this season, losing at the Gilette Stadium in November, but have home field advantage this time around.
The linebacker told reporters: "I'm really excited. It's an opportunity for us to go out there and get one game closer to the Super Bowl. We have this game in front of us.
"We aren't going to do anything different. We're just preparing and staying within our realm. Just getting excited and getting motivated to go out here and try to put together a good 60 minutes.
"I'm just ready to go. It's another game, it's another opportunity for me to play the game that I love and be out here with my dogs."
Trevathan made 128 tackles, two sacks, four forced fumbles and three interceptions during the regular season.
