Denver Broncos defensive end DeMarcus Ware has admitted that he is pleased that his side are showing a physical edge in their play following their win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Broncos dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball as running back CJ Anderson ran for 168 yards, while John Fox's side's defensive line sacked Alex Smith six times and held Jamaal Charles to 35 rushing yards at Arrowhead Stadium.
"Sometimes, this is how it looks," Ware told reporters. "You have to play in the cold. You have to win on the road. You have to be physical on both sides of the ball.
"We can do those things. We've shown we can do those things, and we want to be able to do whatever we need to do to win however we need to win. Those are the best teams."
The Broncos are now 9-3 in their season, and hold the number two seed in the AFC conference.
