The Kansas City Chiefs are in control of their NFL clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars as they lead 21-2 at the break.
Jacksonville got off to a great start on special teams when linebacker JT Thomas blocked Dustin Colquitt's punt and his block rolled out of the endzone resulting in a two-point safety, which gave his side the lead.
However, the Chiefs responded and drove the length of the field with quarterback Alex Smith finding wide receiver Donnie Avery in the flat, and he beat a tackle before running into the endzone to give his side a 7-2 lead, after Ryan Succop kicked the extra point.
Kansas City were rolling and were starting to dominate the Jags defense, and they notched their second touchdown of the game with another strike for Smith when he found Junior Hemmingway in the endzone for a touchdown. Succop added the extra point to make it 14-2.
The Chiefs continued their offensive success and finished the half 21-2 in the lead, as running back Jamaal Charles finished a lovely drive with a two-yard touchdown run.
