Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz has admitted that he enjoys travelling to away games for the different experience they provide.
Schwartz, whose Chiefs are 9-3 so far this season, said that the away games are particularly important when on poor form, as the players are forced to get through it together.
He said that he was expecting a hostile environment when the Chiefs travel to take on the Washington Redskins in their next game.
"I think it's great," Schwartz told the club's official website. "It really brings our team closer together, because we spend that whole time on the road.
"When you're in a hostile environment, the only way you can really overcome that and play well as a team is come together as a family. Road games, I've always enjoyed them. This place gets loud; there are a lot of people there. We're looking forward to playing."
The Chiefs' game with the Skins takes place on Sunday evening.
