Justin Houston: 'Tamba Hali and I are the best pass-rushing duo'

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston feels that he and teammate Tamba Hali are the best pass-rushing duo in the NFL after combining for 28 sacks last season.

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston has claimed that he and Tamba Hali are the best pass-rushing duo in the NFL.

Houston had an impressive 2014 campaign as he fell one sack short of breaking the NFL record with 22 quarterback takedowns, while Hali notched six of his own, his lowest total since 2008.

However, the 26-year-old is adamant that he and his teammate are still the most formidable duo when rushing the passer in the NFL.

"I'd say so. I think everybody should think the same way," Houston told the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer.

"I think you should think that as an NFL player, think you're the best and believe you're the best. I really do think we are."

Houston has yet to pen a long-term deal with the Chiefs after he was designated with the franchise tag earlier in the off-season.
