Teddy Bridgewater only focused on training camp

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater admits that he wants to do his talking on the field as he faces a three-way battle to win the starter's job at the club.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has revealed that he is only focused on training camp and is not ready to talk about the starting job at the club yet.

The Vikings selected Bridgewater with the 32nd pick in the 2014 Draft, and the 21-year-old now faces a three-way battle with Matt Cassel and Christian Ponder to win the starting signal caller's job during training camp.

However, the former Louisville Cardinals man has admitted that he only wants to do his talking on the practice field.

"That's something I don't feel comfortable talking about," Bridgewater told ESPN. "I'm just looking forward to training camp.

"Can't wait to get to Mankato, put the pads on and just continue doing what we've got to do — play football."

Bridgewater threw for 3,970 yards along with 31 touchdowns to four interceptions for the Cardinals in the 2013 season.
