The Minnesota Vikings have confirmed the signing of free agent quarterback Josh Freeman.
Reports over the weekend suggested that the 25-year-old has signed with Leslie Frazier's side and the coach himself spoke on the future of Freeman at the club on Monday.
The team have now officially confirmed the news on their website that the quarterback is finally part of their 53-man roster and also announced the release of McLeod Bethel-Thompson to make room for Freeman.
The 25-year-old was recently cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following a row with head coach Greg Schiano, as he was replaced as the starting quarterback by rookie Mike Glennon.
