New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has described his side's last-gasp win over the Cleveland Browns yesterday as "awesome".
The Patriots looked destined for their first home defeat of the season when trailing by 12 points going into the closing stages, but Brady threw two touchdown passes in the final 61 seconds of the match to rescue an improbable 27-26 victory for his side.
"That was awesome. Pretty sweet," Brady told The AP.
Coach Bill Belichick was also pleased with the result and praised his side for making vital plays when they needed them most.
"We had to make just about every play that we made at the end today and, fortunately, we did," Belichick added.
The result keeps the Patriots top of the AFC East with a 10-3 record, as well as ensuring that they remain unbeaten at home this season.
