The New England Patriots have confirmed that they have signed free agent wide receiver LaQuan Williams to their 53-man roster.
Williams had been without a club following his release by the Baltimore Ravens as part of their squad cut down in September.
To make room for the 25-year-old on their roster the Patriots released Austin Collie, who had played in their last four games catching three passes for 34 yards.
Bill Belichick's side also signed free agent running back Cierre Wood to their practice squad after he was cut by the Houston Texans.
