New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady could face a suspension of up to four games for his part in the deflategate scandal, according to a report.
An investigation by Ted Wells found the 37-year-old to be generally aware that his side's footballs were being deliberately deflated by a member of the Patriots' equipment staff in their AFC championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.
The minimum punishment Brady could face would be a $25,000 (£16,000) fine, but commissioner Roger Goodell has enough evidence to hand the quarterback a four-game ban, reports The New York Daily News.
A suspension would see Brady miss a match for the first time since the 2008 season, when he tore his ACL.
