The New England Patriots will face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2015 season opener, according to a report.
Bill Belichick's men have the privilege of opening the season following their Super Bowl triumph over the Seattle Seahawks in the 2014 campaign.
The Patriots will host the Steelers at Gillette Stadium on September 10, in a battle between two of the most successful franchises in NFL history as the teams have a combined 10 Super Bowl wins, reports The Boston Herald.
The two sides last faced off in November 2013 when the Patriots recorded a 55-31 victory over Mike Tomlin's team.
