Antrel Rolle: 'New York Giants can still make playoffs'

New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle believes that his side can still reach the playoffs despite a 0-4 start to the season.

New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle has claimed that his side can still reach the playoffs despite losing their opening four matches of the season.

The Giants were thrashed 31-7 by the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, just a week after being shut out 38-0 against the Carolina Panthers.

However, despite beginning with an 0-4 record, Rolle believes that his side can remain unbeaten for the rest of the season and reach the playoffs.

"I believe we can go 12-0 from this point on. People can look at me like I'm crazy, but you know, I could really give a damn at this point. This is what I truly believe. I know the talent of this team, I know the mindset of this team, we just have to go out there and put it all together," Rolle is quoted as saying by ESPN.

"This is a 12-game season for us at this point. Nothing that has taken place matters. That's something that we've been preaching today. Guys just have to believe again. We have to get back that good feeling again, as far as winning.

"We've played some bad football, but this is going to be a true testament of who this New York Giants football team is. We can either go in a hole and hang our heads, or we can come out fighting. And I believe we're definitely going to come out fighting. You all haven't seen the end of us yet."

The Giants will have another chance to pick up their first win of the season when they face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
