New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is reportedly set to sign a contract extension before the team starts training camp next week.
The Giants are confident that a deal can be done "at some point" to keep the signal-caller with the franchise for the remainder of his career, according to ESPN.
The 34-year-old is entering the final year of his six-year contract, and is coming off the back of one of his best statistical seasons.
Manning set a single-season career high in completion percentage, yardage total and passing touchdowns, and threw 14 interceptions which tied his second-lowest total in a 16-game season.
