The New York Jets have signed former Oakland Raiders wide receiver Jacoby Ford, the team announced today.
The Jets are understood to have been interested in Ford since the beginning of free agency, although they had more recently been linked with a move for DeSean Jackson.
Ford's arrival appears to end their interest in the former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver, with the 26-year-old expected to act as a back-up to newly-signed Eric Decker.

Ford has struggled with injuries in recent years, missing 26 games over the last three seasons, including the entire 2012 campaign due to foot surgery.
