New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan has insisted that there are only "positive vibes" coming from his side following their win in their season opener.
Reports suggested that the Jets' locker room was in turmoil following a tumultuous off-season, which has seen last season's starting quarterback, Mark Sanchez, supplanted by 2013 Draft pick Geno Smith.
Ryan told reporters: "I think I know what the general consensus is out there – but it's not even close. We've had nothing but positive vibes inside our locker room.
"We have way more positive momentum than people give us credit for. We were 3-1 in the preseason, I think that's good. Inside our building it's been nothing but positive."
The Jets face the New England Patriots on Thursday.
