Oakland Raiders coach Dennis Allen has backed kicker Sebastian Janikowski to get through his poor patch of form and start hitting the target again.
The Raiders have struggled in many areas so far this season including kicking, but Allen believes that Janikowski will end the year with good statistics to his name.
"I think he's going to be fine," Allen told the club's official website. "Everybody goes through a little bit of a rough patch and he obviously has.
"Obviously with the expectations that we have of him, and I think we all have pretty high expectations that every time he trots out there he's going to kick it through the uprights, but it's just been a situation where he's got to be mentally strong.
"He's got to continue to battle through it and he will. When you look up at the end of the year, I think all of us will be pleased with the results of what we've seen out of him."
The Oakland Raiders face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, with both sides holding a 2-4 record so far.
