Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Fletcher Cox has declared that his side should have the best front seven in the NFL next season.
The NFC East side boast Cox, Bennie Logan and Cedric Thornton on their defensive line, while Kiko Alonso, Mychal Kendricks, Connor Barwin and Brandon Graham make up the linebacking corps.
Cox believes that the quality that his side possess will see them live up to their potential and become the top unit in the league in the 2015 campaign.
"Being honest, I think we should be number one in the league," Cox told CSNPhilly.com. "I say that for [several] reasons.
"We have a bunch of great guys, and they are going to put everything they got on the field. They are going to leave it on the field.
"They are a bunch of selfless guy that's going to play for another and to let each other know they are there to win the games."
The Eagles were ranked 28th in the NFL in total defense in the 2014 season.
